We got pizza from Pizza Peddler for the first time yesterday. They're close to us, but we've always gone to our traditional favourite pizza place. Well, our favourite place is closed for vacation for now, and this gave us the chance to try Pizza Peddler. We're glad we went there! We got three different sorts of pizza, and the flavours were amazing. I'm looking forward to trying more stuff from their menu, as they offer a lot. The place was clean, the folks there were friendly, and the food was wonderful.
I'm sorry it took so long to try them out, but it's great knowing there's such a good place so close to home.
We're going to try some of their homemade olive oil this week.
So glad Chris and his family took over again.. the steak subs are amazing. Pizza crust is handmade. Homemade not Frozen!!! Fresh salads and veggies! Never disappointed... glad to get tasty meals at lunch again!!!
So I had walked to the Pizza Peddler from the apartments down the street originally just to buy a few soft drinks. After seeing several customers come in and getting a wiff of their food, I was curious about how it tasted. I moved from Florida to New Hampshire, but just by word of mouth I've heard many good things about Pizza Peddler. After talking to the owner (who was a really nice guy, by the way), I was convinced to try one of their pizzas. I chose something simple. Just a small pepperoni pizza, but after taking a look at their menu, I decided to bring home my roommate a Greek salad. I can honestly say that I was glad I gave it a chance! That pizza was by far one of the best I've had in years, and it only took them maybe 6 minutes tops to cook it. The crust was golden brown and crunchy, the ingredients tasted fresh and the way it just melted in my mouth was amazing! I finally wrote this because my roommate picked up Domino's, and I can say, without a doubt in my mind, that the Pizza Peddler puts any and all of those big, corporate pizza places to shame! They didn't kill my bank account either! I don't really care for Greek salads, but my roommate enjoyed that a lot too, because every bit of it was obviously fresh and to be truthful, it was also a pretty large amount. Everyone there was really nice and welcoming as well, which made it that much better. I could tell from talking to the owner that he had a real passion for making REAL pizza (along with the cook too, he did a wonderful job), and thanks to them I can say that I now know what real pizza tastes like. Also, as a bonus, the cashier and owner helped me find the best cellphone carrier for the area. You guys at Pizza Peddler are awesome! Give them a try if you haven't. You won't be disappointed!
This is the old hillsborough house piazza that I grew up loving. Same guys different place. Pizzas are really good probably the best in Peterborough I am personally partial to the chicken bacon ranch. I would normally give 5 stars but the quality of the subs isn't really great. I feel like unless you get sausage, meatball or something like that you will get a sub filled with wet shredded lettuce and sometimes will half water drip out while you are eating for added enjoyment. Sides are pretty good, the boneless buffalo wings are very good, also very good on a pizza.
Being relatively new to the area, one night we decided to check this place out. We'd never seen cars out front but thought it might be undiscovered. I LOVE pizza, but have only had about 3 pizzas in my life that I couldn't finish eating. This was one of them. Initially the smell of the pizza was "off" (veggie mushroom & onion). I'd never smelled anything like it and it flustered me the whole drive home. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I ate some of it. It felt really "off" and we never finished eating the whole pizza. Comment on the sit-down restaurant itself: cheap, beaten up, with other people's trash under the tables. Very nice Greek owner, but couldn't help but think the ingredients had gone off. Won't go back, there are much better choices here in Peterborough (La Mia Casa, Pizza Barn.)
